Regardless of your level of experience or your favorite game, you will feel at home at TCG Arena. Our game area at Comic-Con is designed to be inclusive, offering activities and areas dedicated to both competitive players and to those who want to relax, learn to play TCGs or trade cards.

Pokemon TCG

The Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) is a collectible card game released in Japan in 1996. Inspired by the popular Pokémon video game, it was adapted as a card game in which two players duel with decks of 60 cards. The goal is to win by taking all of the opponent’s Prize cards by defeating their active Pokémon. Over time, the game has evolved with numerous expansions, introducing new Pokémon, game mechanics, and strategies, becoming a global phenomenon for both collectors and competitive players.

One Piece TCG

One Piece Trading Card Game (TCG) is a collectible card game released in Japan in July 2022 by Bandai. In this game, players battle using cards featuring characters from the One Piece universe. Each player builds a deck, including leaders, characters, events, and stages. The goal of the game is to reduce the opponent’s life to zero. The game involves strategy, resource management (Don!!), battlefield construction, and the use of unique card abilities. With a wide variety of strategies based on the different crews and narrative arcs of One Piece, each duel is dynamic and full of possibilities!

Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG

Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game has its origins in a popular manga created by Kazuki Takahashi, which included a fictional game called “Duel Monsters”. The actual card game was released by Konami in Japan in 1999, capitalizing on the success of the manga and the first Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. In this game, players build decks to duel, summoning monsters, using spells and traps to defeat their opponent. Over the years, the game has evolved significantly with the introduction of new summon types (Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, Link) and complex deck archetypes, maintaining its status as one of the most popular and long-running collectible card games in the world.

Magic: The Gathering, often abbreviated as MTG or Magic, is considered the first modern collectible card game. It was created by Richard Garfield and released by Wizards of the Coast in 1993. The game introduced revolutionary concepts such as customizable decks, rare cards, and the idea of collecting and trading cards. Set in a vast and complex multiverse, each set of cards explores different worlds and stories. Magic: The Gathering has had a significant impact on card game culture and has spawned a global community of players and collectors, constantly evolving with new sets, game mechanics, and tournament formats. With a rich history and thousands of cards available, each game of Magic: The Gathering offers a unique gaming experience.

Digimon TCG

Digimon Card Game was originally released in Japan in 1999 by Bandai, inspired by the popular anime and video game franchise Digimon. Similar to its Pokémon counterpart, the game translated Digimon characters into playing cards, allowing players to raise and battle their own digital teams. Although it had periods of hiatus outside of Japan, the game was re-released globally in 2020 with a new set of rules and design, enjoying renewed popularity. The new version retains key elements of Digimon’s evolution, adding modern mechanics to create a strategic and engaging gaming experience for both old and new fans.

Flesh and Blood is an independent collectible card game created by Legend Story Studios and released in October 2019. The game was designed with a focus on direct player interaction and a martial arts duel simulation. Unlike many other TCGs, Flesh and Blood places a greater emphasis on playing during your opponent’s turn (by blocking) and effective hand management. The game quickly gained popularity due to its innovative mechanics, impressive art design, and passionate community, establishing itself as a major player in the strategic card game scene.
