Sujaya Dasgupta

Sujaya Dasgupta is a British actress known for her compelling performances across television, film, and in theater. Born in India and later moved to England, earning a degree in English from the University of Leicester before training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Dasgupta made her screen debut in the short film Red Wolf (2014). And appeared in various guest television roles; Doctors (2015), Guilt (2016), The Good Karma Hospital (2017), Press (2018), Casualty (2018), I May Destroy You (2020), and Ghosts (2021). Then later gained significant recognition playing Zoya Nazyalensky in the Netflix series Shadow and Bone (2021-2023) and portraying Kavita in Apple TV+’s Shantaram (2022).

Her known theater credits include Death of a Salesman (2017), A Thousand Splendid Suns (2019), and Silence (2022).
