East European Comic Con 2026 takes place from 11 to 13 September 2026 at Arena Națională, Bucharest, Romania.

Yes. You may enter at any time during the published opening hours, as long as you hold a valid ticket and, where applicable, a valid access wristband for that day.

Your ticket, either digital or printed, will be scanned at the entrance. Once it has been validated, you will receive an access wristband for the relevant Event day or, where applicable, for the full 3-Day Pass period.

Please keep your wristband on and intact for the entire period in which it is valid. Removing, cutting, damaging or losing the wristband may result in the loss of your right to enter or re-enter the Event.

Yes. You may show your ticket on your phone, provided that the QR code is fully visible and your screen brightness is high enough for it to be scanned.

Please turn off dark mode before reaching the access point, as dark mode may affect the visibility and readability of the QR code. Make sure your phone has sufficient battery before arriving at the Event.

All children under 14 years of age must be accompanied at all times by a parent or another responsible adult.

Children under 6 years of age enter free of charge when accompanied by an adult holding a valid General Admission Ticket. The free-entry rule is one child under 6 per one ticket-holding adult. Two children under 6 therefore require two adults with valid tickets.

Children under 4 are not required to wear an access wristband. Children aged 6 and over require a valid ticket.

Any available student discounts, promotions or special ticket categories will be announced exclusively through the official EECC website and social media channels. Unless a specific student discount is officially announced, standard ticket prices apply.

No. Tickets are non-refundable. You are not entitled to a refund if you change your mind or can no longer attend.

If you have lost your ticket, please bring proof of purchase, such as the confirmation email, bank statement, order number or receipt.

You can also create or log in to your Comic Con account using the same email address entered during purchase. If your purchase was completed successfully, your ticket should appear under:

Entry cannot be guaranteed if the purchase cannot be verified.

Yes. Re-entry is permitted during the same day, provided that you keep your valid access wristband on your wrist and present it for checking when you return.

No. Your access wristband must remain on your wrist and intact throughout the period for which it is valid.

A wristband that has been removed, cut, damaged or lost is no longer valid and may result in the loss of entry or re-entry rights. Keep your wristband safe and do not remove it before leaving the Event for the final time.

The Event grounds are generally accessible for wheelchair users. However, certain sections near the main stage may not be accessible because of venue limitations, and a dedicated platform may not be available in that area.

A person holding a valid European Disability Card and classified as having a severe disability may be eligible for free entry for one day only: Friday or Sunday.

You must email [email protected] at least 30 calendar days before the Event opens, state the exact day requested and wait for the Organiser’s written confirmation. At entry, you must present both the valid European Disability Card and the confirmation email. Sending a request alone does not guarantee free admission.

There is no formal dress code. You are welcome to attend in everyday clothes or cosplay. Please dress appropriately, comfortably and in accordance with the Event rules.

Parking spaces near Arena Națională are limited. We strongly recommend using public transport, ride-sharing or other alternative transportation options where possible.

For situations like this, please use the Access Tool to submit a report and specify the item that was denied at entry.

To submit a report, you must have a Comic Con account and an active ticket linked to the same email address used for your account.

Yes, in most public Event areas. Amateur photography and video recording are allowed, provided that you respect other Participants and always ask for and receive permission before photographing or filming another person. This applies to attendees, cosplayers, artists, exhibitors and guests.

Restrictions may apply in the Actors Area, during panels, photo sessions, autograph sessions and other clearly marked areas. Follow all posted instructions and requests from staff.

Yes. Please be considerate. The use of strong lights, excessive flash or equipment that may disturb attendees, artists, exhibitors or the official programme may be restricted by staff.

Tripods, stands and other bulky support systems are not allowed inside the Event because they can obstruct circulation and create safety risks.

Selfie sticks may be used only if they do not obstruct circulation, block other attendees’ experience or create a safety risk. Staff or security may ask you to stop using them at any time.

Flags, banners and signs may be permitted only if they are safe, reasonably sized and do not obstruct other Participants, walkways, stands, views or emergency routes.

Real military flags, military insignia and military symbols are strictly prohibited. Country flags may also be restricted, with the exception of the Romanian flag, in order to prevent inflammatory, political or disruptive behaviour within the Event.

Costumes, props, banners or other elements containing symbols, messages or depictions that promote or incite hatred, racism, violence, extremism or discrimination are strictly prohibited.

Bags and backpacks are allowed only if they are of a reasonable size and do not create a safety risk or obstruct circulation. All bags, backpacks and personal belongings may be checked by security at entry.

The Organiser or security team may refuse entry with oversized, unsafe or suspicious items.

No. Pets are not allowed inside the Event. The only exception is for trained assistance dogs.

Yes. You may bring medicines and personal medical devices strictly for your own use, subject to the Event rules below.

Yes, if it is in its original packaging, with an intact and legible label.

For oral non-prescription medication, you may bring a maximum of two tablets/capsules in total for personal use during your time at the Event.

For liquid medication, nasal drops, eye drops, sprays or similar products, you may bring a maximum of one sealed bottle in its original packaging.

Yes. If you follow prescribed treatment or need medication for a documented medical condition, you may bring the quantity necessary for the time you will spend at the Event.

Prescription medicines must be kept in their original packaging. On request, you must be able to show a prescription, medical letter, hospital discharge summary, treatment plan or equivalent medical document. The quantity must be reasonable for your treatment plan and the duration of your attendance.

The two-tablet/capsule limit does not apply to prescription medication supported by the required medical documentation.

No. Loose, unlabelled medication, medicines carried in bags, pill organisers, unlabelled boxes or containers without original packaging are not accepted.

Only if it is necessary for your personal treatment, kept in its original packaging and supported by a valid prescription or medical document. These products may be subject to additional checks by designated medical staff at entry.

Without supporting medical documents, access with such medication is not permitted.

Yes. Essential injectable treatments, including insulin and adrenaline auto-injectors/EpiPens, are permitted when needed for personal use. On request, you must be able to present a prescription, medical letter or equivalent medical document.

Syringes and needles are allowed only when they are linked to a justified medical treatment and presented together with the relevant medicine and medical documentation.

Yes. Small personal medical devices such as inhalers, glucometers, glucose-monitoring sensors, insulin pumps or injectors, adrenaline auto-injectors and small portable CPAP devices are allowed when medically necessary.

You may be asked to present medical documentation that confirms the need for the device.

Yes. An official shop operated by Entertix will be available at the Event, where you can purchase official merchandise.

Yes. Volunteer applications will open when recruitment is officially announced. Please follow the EECC website and social media channels for application news and deadlines.

Contact the paramedics and first-aid points located inside and outside the Event, as shown on the Event map, or call 112 in an emergency.

Please use the Lost and Found Tool on the website or App, or email us immediately at [email protected] with a detailed description of the lost item. Found items are kept at the information desk during the Event and may be retained after the Event to allow collection. Items not claimed after three months may be destroyed, recycled or discarded.

Report the issue immediately through the Event app or website under My Account > Safety Tool, to a staff member wearing a STAFF badge, or to a volunteer.

In urgent situations or where a crime may have been committed, contact security, medical staff or the Police.

A gaming area may include games with their own age restrictions. There is no general Event-wide age restriction for visiting the gaming area, but access to specific games or activities may be limited for visitors under 18.

The cosplay contest is open to cosplayers of all experience levels. Registration details, deadlines and the official contest rules will be published on the official EECC website and social media channels when registration opens.

Props are allowed only if they do not pose a danger to other attendees and comply with the Event’s cosplay and prop rules. The Organiser and security team may refuse any prop considered dangerous, inappropriate or too realistic.

Yes. You may cosplay characters from any source, including games, films, television, books, original creations and other media, provided that your costume is appropriate, lawful and complies with Event rules.

Nudity, indecent exposure, prohibited symbols and unsafe costume elements are not permitted.

Yes. The cosplay contest is open to cosplayers of all experience levels. Please follow the official contest rules and registration requirements once they are published.

Yes. You may bring personal makeup and non-electrical hairstyling equipment.

However, pressurised, flammable or alcohol-based hair products are not permitted. This includes aerosol hair spray, pressurised hair fixers and similar products.

Devices requiring electricity are not permitted inside the Event.

Yes, provided it does not obstruct circulation, create a safety risk or significantly interfere with other attendees’ comfort and access.

Toy weapons may be permitted only if they are clearly identifiable as toys, are made of foam, rubber or soft plastic, and have no functional mechanism capable of launching projectiles.

Airsoft replicas, realistic weapon replicas, hard props and any item that may be considered dangerous are not permitted.

All props remain subject to inspection and approval by Event security and staff at entry. A prop may be refused if it is considered unsafe, too realistic or inappropriate for the Event.

Simple camo-pattern trousers may be permitted if they are part of an ordinary casual outfit and are not combined with tactical gear, military patches, military boots, helmets, protective vests, realistic weapons or other elements that create the appearance of a real military uniform.

If an outfit resembles tactical, combat or military clothing, it may be refused at entry.

Yes. Each autograph requires its own Autograph purchase, in addition to a valid General Admission Ticket.

There is no fixed general limit. However, please be mindful of the time available, the guest’s schedule and the number of people waiting in line. Staff may limit the number of items signed per person if required for queue management or at the guest’s request.

Yes. You may bring your own poster, artwork or item, but the guest may refuse to sign anything they consider inappropriate, unsafe, offensive or unacceptable.

There are no general age restrictions. Children under 10 may be accompanied by a parent, but every person appearing in a family photo needs their own Photo Op purchase, except for children under 6 as noted below.

A child under 6 years of age may take part in a Photo Session together with an Adult holding a valid purchase for that Photo Session, without the need to purchase an additional Photo Op ticket for the child.

For all other children and family members, one Photo Op purchase is required per person appearing in the photograph.

You may make a pose request, but the guest has the right to refuse any pose they are not comfortable with. Please respect the guest’s preferences and follow staff instructions.

Yes. Schedules will be published closer to the Event date on the official EECC website and social media channels. Please check these channels regularly for updates.

Restrictions may apply in the Actors Area, during panels, photo sessions, autograph sessions and other clearly marked areas. Follow all posted instructions and requests from staff. Photography, videography and recording may be prohibited in these zones for contractual, privacy or security reasons.
