3.1. General Provisions
Access to the Event is based on a ticket. The ticket on which access will be granted must be kept for the entire duration of the Event. Tickets can be purchased for only one of the Event days or for all days (subscription/3-Day Pass).
Tickets can be purchased online from our official website or from authorized partners (Entertix, Carturesti stores).
We only guarantee the validity of tickets purchased through our official partners.
3.2. Ticket Buyer Rights
By buying a ticket to East European Comic Con, you agree with these Terms and also have the right to be served and treated with respect.
Please keep your email, bank statement, or receipt of the tickets bought. Unless you can provide proof of buying the tickets, we have no obligation to assist you in any way.
As a ticket buyer, you hold the right of complaint on all the tickets bought. If you are not the buyer but the ticket holder, you need to ask the buyer to formulate a complaint with the proof of acquisition.
3.3. Non-Refundable and Non-Resellable Policy
Electronic Tickets are non-refundable and non-resellable.
The resale or purchase of tickets or invitations is strictly prohibited. If you resell your ticket, you forfeit your rights. Tickets in Romania have taxes. Unless you have a contract with us allowing you to sell our tickets, those are not resellable.
We reserve the right to cancel any ticket that is present on platforms like OLX, lajumatate, publi24, viagogo, okazii, or any other unauthorized website.
Tickets for events or concerts are not subject to the EU 14 Days guarantee return policy! Under the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU (CRD), the right to withdraw (known as the 14-day cooling off period) does not apply to certain leisure activities that take place on a specific date or period of performance, including ticket sales for events.
You are not entitled to a refund if you change your mind about going to the Event or you can no longer attend.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify ticket prices without prior notice.
3.4. Electronic Tickets (eTickets)
eTickets are sent to you as a PDF attached in an email which you need to have already opened on your mobile device or print out and bring with you at the Event. Most clients receive their PDF tickets within 3-5 minutes if the payment is completed.
If your ticket has not arrived even after 24 hours of having placed the order, please contact Entertix team at [email protected] or by phone +4 0748-110-111. Most of the time it is due to customers misspelling their email, or the email being categorized as Spam/Junk.
3.5. General Access Tickets
ONE General Access Ticket can be used by only ONE person for ONE DAY unless it's a 3 Days Ticket (ABONAMENT), then it can be used by ONE person to receive an access wristband for all 3 days.
General Access tickets provide you access to the Event perimeter, including access to the Panels (Q&A / Talks) with actors present at the Event. However, access to an area is subject to the rules and regulations of the Event and Romanian Law. In some intervals, some areas can become very crowded, which would require us to limit access to those already present in that area.
3.6. Access Wristband
ONE General Access Ticket grants you ONE Access Wristband, which will grant you access to the Event for the duration of the entire schedule of that day (or 3 days for 3-Day Pass).
Take care of your wristband, do not cut it, do not take it off. Taking it off will mean forfeiting the right to access the Event.
3.7. Autographs and Photo Ops
General Access Tickets DO NOT INCLUDE Autographs and Photo Ops. Autograph or Photo Op tickets are an extra service for those who attend EECC and have bought or hold a General Access Ticket.
Autograph or Photo Op must be purchased as additional tickets online. General Access tickets are available in Carturesti stores, Entertix, on our website, or at the Event at the EECC Ticket point.
At the request of our celebrities, we limit the number of people in a picture with an actor to four. Only ONE person can be in a photo-op for the price of one photo op purchased. For four customers, you would need four photo op purchases. One child under 6 can take the picture together with one Adult holder of a photo op purchase.
4. Access to the Event
4.1. Event Hours
- Friday, April 24th: 15:00 - 20:00
- Saturday, April 25th: 10:00 - 19:00
- Sunday, April 26th: 10:00 - 19:00
4.2. Children
Children under 6 years old have free access under the following rule: 1 Child + 1 Adult holder of General Access Ticket / 2 Children + 2 Adults holder of General Access Ticket. In this case, the child receives a wristband if the parent allows it. Children under 4 years old are not required to wear the wristband.
ALL CHILDREN UNDER 14 YEARS OLD MUST BE ACCOMPANIED AT ALL TIMES BY AN ADULT OR A PARENT. The festival has some areas that are not suitable for children, so any person under 14 should be accompanied by an adult. EECC is a crowded event!
At the request of security personnel, the accompanying adult must present documents attesting to the minor's age (birth certificate, student ID, passport, or any other document containing the minor's photo).
East European Comic Con has no responsibility if any harm has come to the child.
4.3. People with Disabilities
A person with a disability (severe or profound) may benefit from free access to the event for one day only (Friday or Sunday), provided they present a European Disability Card and send a request by email to [email protected] specifying the exact date they wish to attend.
The deadline for requesting free access for people with disabilities is 30 days before the start or opening day of the event.
Free access is not available for Saturday, as that day is usually very crowded and may be difficult to access for people with disabilities, especially those with reduced mobility. However, any person with a disability who holds a valid ticket or event pass may attend on any day, including Saturday.
Free access is an optional facility offered by the organizer within the limits of available resources and organizational capacity. It does not constitute a legal obligation under Article 21 of Law 448/2006, as the event is organized by a private entity without public partnership or funding.
For clarity, both adults with disabilities and children with disabilities(as well as their accompanying person), may benefit from free entry(Friday or Sunday) only by submitting a request at least 30 days before the start or opening day of the event and by presenting a European Disability Card.
