Daruma Otoshi/Mikado
Daruma Otoshi is a traditional Japanese game that tests skill and balance. The game consists of a series of wooden blocks topped with a Daruma figurine. Players must remove the blocks without toppling the figurine.
Mikado is a skill and concentration game, also known as “pick-up sticks.” The game consists of a set of thin sticks of different colors and values, which are thrown onto a flat surface. Players must pick up the sticks one by one without moving the others. Each stick has a specific value, and the goal is to collect as many points as possible.
At the Traditional Japanese Games booth, participants will be able to try these traditional games and test their skills.
