Rent a Yukata

A yukata is a simplified version of the kimono, made from lightweight cotton and typically worn during the summer. The origins of the yukata date back to the Heian period (794-1185), when it was used as easy-to-wear clothing after exiting onsen (hot springs). Today, yukata are worn on various occasions, such as summer festivals (matsuri) and still for visits to onsen.
At the Rent a Yukata booth, participants will have the opportunity to wear this traditional costume and take photos worthy of a Japanese festival. Yukatas are available in various designs and colors, reflecting the beauty and elegance of Japanese fashion. Volunteers will be available to help with dressing in yukatas and to provide information. This activity offers an authentic and memorable experience, allowing participants to feel part of Japanese culture.

A deposit of 100 lei is required for trying on a yukata, which will be refunded upon return of the yukata.
