Rules - K-Pop Showcase - Romexpo 2026

The K-POP Showcase will take place on Sunday, 26 April, on the main stage of East European Comic Con.
Registrations are open from the 23rd of March until the 13th of April.

Conditions for Participation

• All participants must hold a valid ticket for the day of the show.

• In case of a large number of registrations, selection will be based on the submitted video.

• The way the registration form is filled out will be taken into account in the selection process.

Age and Group Composition

• All group members must be at least 14 years old.

• Participants aged 14–18 must provide a written consent, signed by a parent or legal guardian, allowing stage participation. The document will be available in the registration form.

• The minimum number of members in a group is 3.

Files Required for Registration

To complete the registration form, participants must prepare:

1. A video containing the choreography that will be performed on stage (downloadable link from an online drive – Wetransfer or other links that expire are not accepted).

2. The audio file to be used on stage.

   • If multiple songs are used, they must be included in a single audio file.

   • Maximum duration of the file: 6 minutes (a few additional seconds are allowed).

Rules for preselection and showcase steps

1. Participants must take the preselection stage seriously and pay special attention to the chosen song.

   • In case multiple groups choose the same song, the organizing team reserves the right to approve the final songs to avoid repetitions.

   • The group with the most accurate choreography will be selected.

2. Any detail or prop used in the artistic moment must be announced in advance and approved by the organizers (e.g., decor elements, movements that may cause accidents, entry or exit from the stage using routes other than the established ones).

3. Live/playback singing is not allowed.

4. Throwing objects into the audience (caps, petals, fans, etc.) is prohibited.

5. Participants must follow the organizers' instructions both before the event and during the showcase.

6. Adhering to the established schedule and the instructions of the organizing team is the sole responsibility of the participants.

7. The Key-Word is "K-PoPEECC"

Rules for Presentation Photos

• Each participating group is required to submit a clear group photo, which will be used for the official announcement on the event page.

Accepted:

• Photos taken on a tripod or by another person;

• Photos taken with a phone;

• Thumbnails from videos, provided they do not contain text or extravagant edits.

Not accepted:

• Mirror selfies;

• Selfies;

• Collages;

• Other unprofessional formats.

Important: Groups that do not comply with these rules will not have their photo posted on the event's official page.

Rights and Responsibilities

• The organizing team and staff reserve the right to modify the regulations without prior notice.

• East European Comic Con reserves the right to publish and use media content (photos and videos) produced during the showcase for event promotion.

• By registering, participants confirm that they have read and accepted these regulations.
